Falx is operated by Roarvia Private Limited ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we process and the rights you have under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") of India.

By using the service, you consent to the processing described here. You can withdraw consent at any time.

1. What we collect

  • Account information: the email address used to sign in.
  • Service usage: information generated through your use of the service.
  • Payment information: transaction references returned by our payment partner. We do not store full card or bank account details.
  • Technical information: standard log data used for security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.

2. How we use it

  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To comply with applicable law.

3. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active and for the period required by applicable law thereafter. Where the law requires us to retain certain records (for example, financial or tax records), we retain only the minimum needed to satisfy that obligation.

4. Who we share it with

We engage service providers to operate the service. Each provider receives only the data needed to perform its function, under contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations. Categories of providers include cloud infrastructure, a payment partner (Razorpay), and communication providers.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it for advertising or retargeting. Disclosure to authorities occurs only when compelled by a valid Indian legal order.

5. Your rights under the DPDP Act

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal data.

Most rights can be exercised from your account. For other requests, contact our Grievance Officer (Section 7).

6. Security

We protect personal data using administrative, technical, and physical safeguards consistent with industry practice. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorised personnel and is logged. No system is perfectly secure; we work continuously to keep ours strong.

7. Grievance Officer

Email: privacy@falx.in
We acknowledge grievances within a reasonable time and respond within the period required by the DPDP Act.

8. Children

Falx is intended for adults preparing for postgraduate medical entrance examinations in India. We do not knowingly process data of individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has signed up, contact privacy@falx.in and we will take appropriate action.
